as always, i've been a very bad blogger. it's been over 3 months since my last entry. oy! but instead of trying to play catch-up (although i might do an all photo entry with some of my favorite photos of the summer) i figured i'd just start from, well, now!
this year was the 3rd annual clayton/croll beach get-a-way. this was the first year we had less than favorable weather...and by that, i mean it was W-I-N-D-Y and quite cold. making walks and playtime on the beach few in number. cold i can do. but blowing sand? no. I did get a bit of cabin fever and take lelia out on the blustery beach to play. she kept dancing around saying 'owie' as the sand was stinging her ankles. all in all, a bit of a bummer. but we did miss out on some really hot weather in portland. i'll take cool over hot any day. there's only so much clothing you can remove when it's hot! :)
