It's been a wonderful, magical, exhausting, focus-shifting, frustrating, joyous past 6 months. Lelia is a total delight. She's a happy happy baby. Since finding her 'voice' she talks and sings non-stop and most of the time I relish hearing her chatter. She smiles willingly at everyone and is discovering and expanding her world daily. She's a miracle to me!

We started Lelia on cereal this past weekend. She was intrigued at first but rather quickly let us know that she was not very excited about this new experience. I have to admit that part of me (OK, a lot of me) was excited by the fact that she was not enjoying her cereal. I've been having a bit of a hard time with all the transitions she's been making lately...but that's a whole other post in itself. We tried the cereal again this morning and she just LOVED it. She lunged on the spoon with gusto! Yeah! She's movin' on...

Aiden on his birthday!

Proud Auntie that I am I have new pics to share of my nephew, Aiden!

The new family was home for the first time together last night and it sounds as if it was a bit rough as little Aiden wanted to party all night while his tired parents wanted sleep. Other than being a party animal...he's a bit jaundiced but doing well. Everyone is adjusting well and so far, so good! Enjoy!
